Malir River Bridge (Urdu: ملير ريور برج ) is located in Karachi, Sindh, the former capital of Pakistan at southern coast. It crosses the Malir River and connects Shah Faisal town with Korangi.
The length of the bridge is 3.1 mi (5 km), and the main bridge on the Malir River is 0.8 mi (1.2 km) long. The cost of the bridge is 1.2 billion PKR (US $14 million), funded by the Pakistani government.
This bridge was opened by the Governor of Sindh Dr Ishrat ul Ibad on February 4, 2009.

The length of the bridge is 3.1 mi (5 km), and the main bridge on the Malir River is 0.8 mi (1.2 km) long.
The total width of the bridge and approach bridge is 77 ft (23.6 m), with 6 lanes, the width of the carriageway in each direction is 31 ft (9.3 m), and the width of the sidewalk is 5 ft (1.6 m).

The two roads have a protective isolation width of 1 ft (0.4 m), the middle of the road isolation width is 2 ft (0.6 m), and the bridge gradient is 2%.
Street lights are built in the isolation zone in the middle of the bridge to provide night lighting.

Bridge function
The Malir River Bridge has shortened the distance between the two places by 17 mi (28 km), providing convenience for a large number of residents living on both sides of the Malir River, and strengthening economic activities in the area.
For the purpose of construction, 42 houses were demolished and the government compensated the owners for their expenses.
