Puli Bridge (Chinese:普立特大桥) is located in Puli Township, Xuanwei City, Yunnan Province, China. It is built on a stream between two mountains.
Puli Bridge is the first steel box girder suspension bridge in mountainous areas in China.
The total length of the bridge is 3,412 ft (1,040 m), the longest span is 2060 ft (628 m), and the deck height is 1,591 ft (485 m).
Puli Bridge total cost 519 million yuan (US $80 million ).

History
- On November 11, 2011, the Puli Bridge project held a groundbreaking ceremony and officially started.
- On November 24, 2014, the first steel box girder of the bridge was successfully hoisted.
- On May 10, 2015, the main construction of Puli Bridge was completed.
- On August 25, 2015, the opening ceremony of Puli Bridge was held, and the bridge was officially put into operation.

The total length of the bridge is 3,412 ft (1,040 m), with a total of 53 sections of steel box girder. The maximum section weight of the girder section is approximately 140 tons.
The main bridge crosses the Puli Grand Canyon about 500 meters deep, and the Deck height is 1,591 ft (485 m). the bridge main tower tall 505 ft (154 m). The bridge deck width is 83 ft (25.4 m). The longest span is 2060 ft (628 m).
Puli Bridge used about 154,000 square meters of concrete, about 8,833 tons of steel bars, about 7,562 tons of steel box girder, about 615 tons of steel strands, and about 491,000 square meters of earthwork.
The total cost of the bridge is 519 million yuan (US $80 million), and the contract period is 36 months, which actually took 4 years.

Technology
Puli Bridge uses rocket launch pilot cable technology and is the third bridge in China to use this technology. The other two are Sidu River Bridge and Lishui Bridge
