Jiaozhou Bay Bridge(chinese:胶州湾大桥) is located Jiaozhou Bay in China. It is a cross-sea channel in Huangdao District, Chengyang District, Licang District and Jiaozhou City in Qingdao City, Shandong Province, China.
Jiaozhou Bay Bridge also called Qingdao Bay Bridge.
The Jiaozhou Bay Bridge has a total length of 42.23 kilometers and a bridge length of 31.630 kilometers; the bridge deck is a two-way six-lane highway with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour.
The total investment of the Jiaozhou Bay Bridge project is 9.53 billion yuan (about 1.5 billion US dollars).

Engineering design
The Jiaozhou Bay Bridge transects Jiaozhou Bay, which reduces the road distance between Qingdao and Huangdao by 30 km (19 mi), compared with the expressway along the coast of the bay, reducing travel time by 20 to 30 minutes.
The design of the bridge is T-shaped with the main entry and exit points in Huangdao and the Licang District of Qingdao.
A branch to Hongdao Island is connected by a semi-directional T interchange to the main span.
The construction used 450,000 tons of steel and 2.3 million cubic metres (81×106 cu ft) of concrete.
The bridge is designed to be able to withstand severe earthquakes, typhoons, and collisions from ships.
It is supported by 5,238 concrete piles. The cross section consists of two beams in total 35 m (115 ft) wide carrying six lanes with two shoulders.
The Jiaozhou Bay Bridge is mainly composed of 3 waterway bridges and 2 overpasses.
3 waterway bridges: Cangkou Waterway Bridge, Hongdao Waterway Bridge and Dagu River Waterway Bridge.
2 overpasses: Hongdao Overpass and Lijiahe Overpass.

Cangkou Waterway Bridge
The Cangkou Waterway Bridge adopts (80 + 90 + 260+ 90 + 80) meter span arrangement, the separation of the separation tower is 30.5 meters, the separation of the tower columns is 20.6 meters, the height of the tower is 82.5 meters, and the total bridge is 64 Stay cable.
The Cangkou Waterway Bridge is a double-tower cable-stayed bridge, with auxiliary piers on the side spans, a five-span continuous semi-floating structural system, and parallel cables.

Red Island Fairway Bridge
The Hongdao Channel Bridge is arranged with a span of (120 + 120) meters. The separation of the separation tower is 30.5 meters, the separation of the towers is 20.6 meters, and the height is 65 meters. A total of 24 stay cables.
The Hongdao Channel Bridge is a single-tower parallel cable-stayed bridge, which uses a two-span continuous semi-floating structural system, and the cable stays are arranged with parallel cables.

Dagu River Waterway Bridge
The Cangkou Waterway Bridge adopts (80 + 90 + 260+ 90 + 80) meter span arrangement, the separation of the separation tower is 30.5 meters, the separation of the tower columns is 20.6 meters, the height of the tower is 82.5 meters, and the total bridge is 64 Stay cable.
The Dagu River Channel Bridge is a self-anchored suspension bridge. The bridge adopts an auxiliary span of 80 meters on both sides of the self-anchor and side span. The main span and side span are suspension systems.

Red Island Overpass
The three bridges meet here, forming a meeting point where five bridges gather, creating a huge sea overpass.

Lijiahe Overpass
The Lijiahe overpass is half on the sea and half on the land. It is the easternmost part of the Jiaozhou Bay Bridge.

Jiaozhou connecting line(2017)
The newly built Jiaozhou connecting line in 2017 has a total length of 5749 meters and a bridge width of 18.5 meters.
